Seven Habits of Highly Effective People is a book that provides advice for people on how to become self-reliant and independent. It is written by Stephen R Covey, who quotes that the book covers the "True North" theorems.

The Seven Habits are:
  1. Be proactive
  2. Begin with the End in mind
  3. Prioritize your matters
  4. Think Win/win, when both sides benefit from one solution
  5. First to understand, then be understood
  6. Synergize - Coordinate and cooperate to produce an optimum and most desired outcome
The seventh habit is what is considered to be the one that signifies continual knowledge and experience cultivation. This is what is important to many people due to it assisting them in everyday improvement. So:

Stephen R. Covey's self-help book was rewarded with critical acclaim and universal praise due to its classical and perennial contents on how to become an effective winner. It guides and directs its readers from the beginning to the end. It first exposes the mind to new experiences, then teaches it to expand its vision into uncharted grounds, and finally educates the readers to be efficient and squeeze the most out of something. These steps instruct people to make the most out of experiences and plan for succession, and execute the plan.

The first habit teaches people to act rather than to react. Act so that something happens rather than wait for something to occur and react to it. People need to be aware of their environments and be able to adapt to changes as soon, or even before it happens. This habit helps people to confidently handle any situation that arises.

The second habit teaches people to visualize the achievement. Visualize the moment when the goal is achieved. This gives the person incentive and encouragement to work harder for their goals to be achieved.

The third habit teaches people to prioritize what needs to be done in steps. People shall learn to organize their lives and be more efficient in productivity.

The fourth habit teaches people to think of the best possible solution which both sides can gain from. If this kind of solution cannot be found, then don't get involved in the matter.

The fifth habit teaches understanding of the other person, or "putting oneself into another's shoes". This habit is believed to be the most effective way on improving mutual relationships. Then you shall be rewarded when the other person sees the world from your point of view.

The sixth habit teaches people to coodinate with others in order to produce the optimum result. Synergizing with others is a great way to create the best profit for both sides. Sometimes when you coodinate, you generate a result that is far beyond your own capabilities.

The seventh and final habit encourages people to continually cultivate the already acquired abilities and willpower. This habit is to ensure that people maintain their momentum in advancement. This habit bolsters the readers so that they resume to be effective and hopefully discover success and reward.

Seven Habits of Highly Effective people had been written and published in the 1990's, almost two decades ago, but it remains a top bestseller worldwide owing to its truly motivational guidance and realistic resolutions.
Stephen R. Covey had quoted about his philosiphies:
